Some Individual Issues—Depression, Anxiety, Life Transitions, Alternative Lifestyles: Edna works part-time for an outpatient program at El Camino Hospital in Mountain View. This program helps older adult patients who struggle with depression, anxiety, life transition, bipolar mood disorders, and psychosis. A motto Edna goes by is: Edna also welcomes working with individuals and couples choosing to follow an alternative lifestyle (for example, polyamory or BDSM). She is very familiar with those communities. Work with Couples: Edna is a member of CAMFT (California Association of Marriage and Family Therapists) and ACME (Association for Couples in Marriage Enrichment). From the enrichment model, Edna brings practical tools into the work, such as training in basic communication and listening, and conflict resolution skills. Click here for a video demonstration of Edna and her partner "dialoguing" (a powerful communication tool for couples). Edna has also learned from Peter Pearson, assisting in his popular “Coming from the Heart” Workshops—here she has coached couples using the Bader/Pearson developmental model Fee for Services: For individuals, Edna’s regular fee is $110 for a 50-minute session.
